About Normalize Audio
Normalize Audio adjusts volume so a recording is easier to hear and more consistent. It is useful for interviews, podcasts, lectures, voice notes, merged clips, screen recordings, and files where one part is much quieter than another. Normalization is not the same as noise removal. It can raise or balance loudness, but background noise may rise too. If a recording is clipped or distorted, normalization cannot fully repair it. After normalizing, listen for loud peaks, quiet speech, and background hiss before publishing or submitting.
