Extract Specific Pages from a PDF — Free Online
Extract specific pages from a PDF
Need just a few pages from a long PDF? This tool lets you select exactly which pages to extract and saves them as a new PDF file. Works for single pages, ranges, or a mix of both. No software needed, no account required. Upload, select, download — that's it.
How it works
Upload the full PDF
Open the document and let the thumbnails load. Large scanned files can take longer because every page is an image.
Choose pages or ranges
Select single pages such as 2 and 8, or ranges such as 3-5. Check whether the receiver means PDF page numbers or printed page numbers.
Download the extracted PDF
Save the smaller PDF and open it once before sending. Confirm the first and last pages are exactly what the upload form requested.

About Extract Pages
Extract Pages is the better choice when you only need a small part of a larger PDF. Instead of sending a full 80-page bank statement, you can pull out pages 3-5. Instead of forwarding a whole contract packet, you can share only the signed page and invoice page. The output is a new PDF containing the pages you selected, in the order you selected them. Text pages stay text, scanned pages stay scanned images, and annotations on those pages are kept. Use extraction when the receiver asks for a specific page range or when you want to reduce file size without lowering quality. Removing unnecessary pages is often cleaner than heavy compression because it does not blur anything.
Updated June 2026: Expanded the page-range guidance with examples for statements, receipts, application packets, and large scanned PDFs.
